Wedding of Hannah & Chris - 28th July 2012

Sandringham Collection

Hannah & Chris attended the Wimpole wedding show and discussed their stationery requirements with us. They wanted a lavender theme, which suited the Sandringham style invitation, with an Amethyst backing card.
Chris was in charge of the wedding stationery planning and proofing. With a keen eye for detail and knowing exactly what the finished stationery should look like, we thoroughly enjoyed working on a complete package with Chris and the feedback from guests was fantastic.
Within the stationery collection, we matched the lavender themed invitations with place cards, table menus, notelets for guests hotel rooms, table name cards (destinations of their holidays together), VIP cards at the ceremony and a framed table plan, which is now hanging at their home as a reminder of their wonderful day.
Chris and Hannah even drove to France to choose their own champagne, and we were tasked with designing their own personalised labels for the bottles.
The beautiful Cain Manor in Hampshire was the location for ceremony and reception.

Congratulations Hannah & Chris

We were sad to see some of these originals go!

Keeping with the celebrations of the jubilee year, we created some lavendar bags

Wedding of Sam & Tim - 26th May 2012

Sandringham Collection

We met Sam & Tim at the EDP Wedding Show. With the wedding date over a year away, Sam & Tim wanted to make the date official by letting their guests know to Save the Date.
The colour scheme was to be a chocolate brown with lime green, and a butterfly illustration. This theme was followed throughout the complete stationery set of Save the Date cards, Invitations, Place Cards, Table Plan, Table Names and Thank You cards.
Tims father had sketched St Mary's church in Wiveton, used on the front cover of the Order of Service booklets, which added a very nice personal touch.
With the reception taking place at Voewood, High Kelling and the tables all named after various coastal towns, it gave a true North Norfolk feel.
Photographer Simon Buck was on hand to capture every moment of this beautiful day and very kindly supplied images of the reception stationery.

Congratulations Sam & Tim

Wedding of Kaye & Peter - 27th April 2012

Sandringham Collection

Kaye & Peter came along to the Wedding Show at Wimpole Estate back in October 2011, and were very excited to discuss the full details of their wedding stationery requirements with us.
They were getting married at South Farm, a 'distinctly different' wedding venue in Hertfordshire and wanted to create a barn yard theme to suit.
Peter wanted bunting with a circus style font and Kaye wanted to include the various farm animals. We were thrilled to take on this new and fun illustrative theme.
After trying out many different styles, fonts and animals, we finally hit the spot with an olive green and brown colour scheme, which included chicks, hens, ducks and pigs, oh and the bunting for Peter!
Bride & Groom were thrilled, guests were 'raving' about the invitations and I Do are happy to include this is the ever growing portfolio.

Congratulations Kaye & Peter

Wedding of Dawn & Benjamin – 1st October 2011

Thornham Collection
Dawn & Benjamin first had sight of 'I Do' Wedding Design's stationery when they received an invitation for a friend's wedding. Impressed with what they were seeing and thinking of their own forthcoming nuptials, they contacted the 'I Do...' team after a firm recommendation from their friend.
Dawn & Benjamin had already viewed the collections online, and knew exactly what they wanted. The theme was to be black and white with added sparkle. After discussing the full requirements the 'I Do' team created a sample from the Thornham collection. An Ebony Metallic pocketfold gave the black with a touch of shimmer, the printed invitation was on a crisp white card, and it was finished with a classic black Damask illustration.
Thrilled with the sample, the team made a few tweaks to the wording until the design had full approval from Dawn & Benjamin. Each invitation and RSVP were personalised with guests names...Dawn then stamped her own personal touch by adding little diamante appliques to the Damask illustration, for a really luxurious finish! The final piece was stunning.
To follow the theme through to the reception, 'I Do' also created co-ordinating place cards, table names (Benjamin is an avid Liverpool fan and stood his ground by naming the tables after his favourite players) and table planner which looked magnificent on the solid A Frame at Southwood Hall.

Congratulations Dawn & Benjamin
